How To Prepare Videos for Import From SD Card

With the new Frameo version 1.10.15, you can now easily import videos from an external micro SD card into the Luvlink Connected Photo Frame! 

 

You can find the requirements and recommendations for video files below.

 

Requirements for Importing Videos

There are specific limits for video files required to be able to import the videos to the frame. These limits vary depending on your frame's RAM size.


To check your frame's RAM, just go to Settings > About.

 

 

512 MB RAM1+ GB RAM

Video Format

 .mp4 or .3gp

 .mp4 or .3gp

Max Bitrate

 10 Mbps100 Mbps

Max Resolution

720p (1280 x 720p)

 1080p (1920 x 1080)

 

If the video file does not meet these requirements, the videos will not be successfully imported to the frame.

 

 

Recommended Limits for Importing Video

If a video file does not meet the recommended limits for video import, the frame may prompt a warning. You may still be able to import the video regardless of the warning, but we strongly recommend following the specific requirements to get the best experience with your frame.


Furthermore, here are the recommended limits for a video imports:

Transcode Video

If a video does not match any of the recommended limits, you may transcode the video to match these requirements.


It is easy to find tools online, such as video editing software, video converters, video transcoders, etc. that allows to convert and transcode videos to match these recommended limits.


Some of the recommended tools that you can use for free are Open Source Video Transcoder and HandBrake, which is supported on Windows, Mac and Linux.
