The Luvlink Connected Frame needs to be connected to WiFi to be updated and receive new photos and videos.
If you do not have access to a private home WiFi, you may connect to a public WiFi network.
Captive portals are common for public Wi-Fis (e.g. airports, cafés, hotels etc.) and for guest Wi-Fis (e.g. in work places, nursing homes, assisted living facilities etc.) wherein a type of log-in page is used for authentication, which may require a username and password combination.
Here's a simple guide to connect your Luvlink Connected Frame to a network with a captive portal:
- Open the WiFi settings menu on your frame.
- Choose the correct network with the captive portal. (The captive portal functionality is only supported on unsecured networks)
- Once connected, tap on the "Web Login" button that will appear in the upper right corner of the screen (refer to the screenshot for visual aid).
- This will open a small browser window, allowing you to enter your login credentials.
- Once you've entered the required information, the browser will automatically close, indicating that the connection has been established successfully.
