How to Connect the Frame to a Captive Portal

The Luvlink Connected Frame needs to be connected to WiFi to be updated and receive new photos and videos.

If you do not have access to a private home WiFi, you may connect to a public WiFi network.

Captive portals are common for public Wi-Fis (e.g. airports, cafés, hotels etc.) and for guest Wi-Fis (e.g. in work places, nursing homes, assisted living facilities etc.) wherein a type of log-in page is used for authentication, which may require a username and password combination.

Here's a simple guide to connect your Luvlink Connected Frame to a network with a captive portal:

  1. Open the WiFi settings menu on your frame.
  2. Choose the correct network with the captive portal. (The captive portal functionality is only supported on unsecured networks)
  3. Once connected, tap on the "Web Login" button that will appear in the upper right corner of the screen (refer to the screenshot for visual aid).
  4. This will open a small browser window, allowing you to enter your login credentials.
  5. Once you've entered the required information, the browser will automatically close, indicating that the connection has been established successfully.

There you go! You're all set to enjoy seamless connectivity with your Luvlink frame.
