In some situations, you may be asked to find your MAC ID of your Friendship Lamp. The MAC ID is printed on a sticker on the base of the lamp.
However, if it has been removed or if you are needing to connect to a College / Public WiFi, you may need to verify the MAC ID with us.
The MAC ID is based on the Friendlamp WiFi XXXX number that each lamp puts out before being connected. It is the number that shows in your list of available networks when you go to set up the lamps. Each number is unique and no two lamps have the same number.
If you need to locate your MAC ID (and the sticker has been removed), please go back into the setup mode (hold the top sensor for 2-3 minutes or until the lamp is dim red) - and then send us the number behind FriendlampsXXXX that you see when you're about to connect to the device.
Send us the numbers via our contact form and we can then verify your MAC ID.
