When a LuvLink Friendship Lamp is dim red, it means it is not successfully connected to WiFi and needs to be setup using the LuvLink App.
Why Did My Friendship Lamp Turn Dim Red?
If your LuvLink Friendship Lamp was been setup and previously connected to your WiFi, below are a few reasons that could cause this to be stuck on dim red:
- Your internet was disconnected due to an outage.
- You have recently changed / updated your WiFi or router.
- You have moved to a different location and is connecting to a new WiFi network.
When this happens, you will simply to setup the lamp on the LuvLink App and connect this to your WiFi.

Things to Check:
Here's a few things that would be important to check:
- You have the 2.4ghz WiFi bandwidth enabled on your router, and select this during the setup process on the LuvLink App.
- You have entered the correct WiFi password. Remember that password is case sensitive, so please check if you have the auto-capitalization on for your device).
If you continuously encounter issues in the connection process, please try:
- Using a different device to setup the lamp (use your computer or someone else's phone) and follow through with the set up instructions.
- Reboot your WiFi connection by turning it off at the router, wait for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
- Connecting to your mobile hotspot as a test connection and then revert back to your own home WiFi.
