It is a magical state of mind knowing you're connected with your loved ones, even when you're miles apart.
Once fully set up and successfully connected to the WiFi, the LuvLink Friendship Lamps light up in beautiful colors whenever someone in your group sends a touch, creating those special moments of connection across any distance! If your lamp isn't communicating properly with your loved ones, you may just need to check your GroupID and ensure that you are in the correct group. This can be done on the LuvLink App where you can also change or update it as needed, without having to reset the lamp and go through the setup all over again.
One of the coolest features of the LuvLink App is that you can check your GroupID in just a few taps. This is perfect if your lamp is already connected to WiFi and works on its own, but isn't getting those special touches from others in your group, or maybe it's lighting up randomly when nobody's supposed to be sending colors your way.
Before anything else, it's a good idea to check the GroupID first to see if this is the issue. No need to reset everything and go through that whole setup process again!
Here’s How to Check Your GroupID on the LuvLink App:
1. Access your LuvLink Friendship Lamp's settings from the app dashboard.
2. Open up the GroupID tab under Device Information.
3. Either choose the GroupID from the list, or manually type it in to ensure accuracy, then press 'Save'
Remember: When entering the GroupID, please ensure that all are lowercase, no space, and the only allowed special character is an underscore '_'
Enter exactly the same GroupID that was generated in the LuvLink App (or the one provided to you by your group admin).
If you have checked the GroupID and confirmed that you are in the correct group, but you notice that your lamp is still still acting strangely, you may refer to the follow troubleshooting articles that could help resolve this:
